GSA and ExxonMobil are excited to announce the third annual Field Seminar in the Bighorn Basin of north-central Wyoming, which will emphasize multi-disciplinary integrated basin analysis.

GSA aims to enhance its educational program by offering a seminar concerning certain geologic aspects of the Bighorn Basin of Montana and Wyoming. The Bighorn Basin Field Program seeks to energize and enhance the education of geology students and faculty by introducing them to the breadth and challenges of integrated basin and petroleum systems analysis.

This August, undergraduate students, graduate students and faculty will participate in this field program, with all expenses covered including hotel, airfare, and meals.

The application period will be open 1 February - 1 April.

Two additional GSA-ExxonMobil Field Awards are now available. One is to help off set the costs of students attending field school. Twelve $2000 awards will be given to students, and one award will be given to a professor/field camp for $10,000.
