RICHARD H. JAHNS DISTINGUISHED LECTURER

Richard H. Jahns (1915-1983) was an engineering geologist who had a diverse and distinguished career in academia, consulting, and government. The Richard H. Jahns Distinguished Lectureship was established in 1988 by the Engineering Geology Division and the Association of Engineering Geologists, jointly, to commemorate him and to promote student awareness of engineering geology through a series of annual lectures at academic institutions.
