Quick Guide to the Forum

• You can browse the forum without having to log in or register.
• You can read the most recent post by clicking on the arrow at the far right of the forum row.
• To participate in the forum or to receive biogeoscience e-mail news, you must register.
• About registering:
• When you register, we ask that you provide your e-mail address (although it is not required).
• Entering your e-mail address signs you up to be on our list serve. This is our mechanism for distributing important biogeoscience news to the entire community.
• You may unsubscribe from the list serve any time by logging in to the fourm, clicking on "settings", then "edit profile", and removing your e-mail address. Other forum users may still contact you by using the "Private Messenger" feature.
• Your e-mail address will not be displayed in the forum unless you choose that option in your profile settings.
• Once you're registered you can change your personal settings any time you wish.
• If you have forgotten your user name and/or password, you can have it sent to you from the log-in screen.
• We value your privacy and will not share your personal information with any third party. Information gathered here is strictly for the purposes of the discussion forum and to distribute news and information important to the biogeosciences community.
• Each forum has a toggle feature called "Watch this Forum". This is used if you're keenly interested in a particular discussion and want to be notified by e-mail of any new posts. You can select "Un-watch this Forum" to turn off the e-mail notification feature.
• This forum does not allow any image or file uploads.
