How to Use the GSA Meetings Bulletin Board
- You can browse the forum without having to log in or register.
- You can read the most recent post by clicking on the arrow at the far right of the forum row.
- You must register to participate in the forum.
- To post a message, first click on the forum to where you wish to post. Then click on the "New Topic" button on the right side of your window.
- To reply to a message, simply type in the reply box at the bottom of the screen.
- To e-mail someone, click on the "profile" button and then the "email" button. The system will route the e-mail without revealing the e-mail address.
- About registering:
- When you register, it's a good idea to provide your e-mail address (although it is not required).
- KEEP YOUR E-MAIL ADDRESS PRIVATE:
Put your e-mail address in your profile (not in your post). By keeping it in your profile, your address will remain private. Your e-mail address will not be displayed in the forum unless you choose that option in your profile settings (or you include it in the text of your post).
- Once you're registered you can change your personal settings any time you wish.
- If you have forgotten your user name and/or password, you can have it sent to you from the log-in screen.
- We value your privacy and will not share your personal information with any third party. Information gathered here is strictly for the purposes of this forum.
- Each forum has a toggle feature called "Watch this Forum". This is used if you're keenly interested in a particular discussion and want to be notified by e-mail of any new posts. You can select "Un-watch this Forum" to turn off the e-mail notification feature.
