The Kerry Kelts Student Research Awards of the Limnogeology Division
The application process for the Kerry Kelts Research Awards of the
Limnogeology Division is now open. These awards for undergraduate or graduate student

teacher. This year, one award of $1,000 in research related to limnogeology, limnology,
or paleolimnology is available. Application for this award is simple and consists of a
summary of the proposed research, its significance, and how the award will be used (five-page maximum). Please send your summary in PDF format along with your name and a
short (two-page maximum) CV to the chair of the Limnogeology Division, Dan Deocampo <deocampo@gsu.edu>. Please put your name in all PDF file names that you send. Application Deadline: August 1, 2011. Awards will be announced at the Limnogeology
Division Business Meeting and Reception at the 2011 GSA Annual Meeting in Minneapolis, Minnesota in October.
We hope to increase the number of the awards in succeeding years. If you are
