GeoCorps™ America NPS Geoscientists-In-the-Parks (GIP) On To the Future (OTF)

GeoCorps America is a program of the Geological Society of America, which partners with the BLM and U.S. Forest Service to offer short-term, paid geoscience opportunities on federal lands.

Bighorn Basin Field Award Field Camp Scholar Award Field Camp Excellence Award

Eighth annual Field Seminar in the Bighorn Basin of north-central Wyoming emphasizing multi-disciplinary integrated basin analysis for undergraduate students, graduate students and faculty.

Program Information

This award is for undergraduate students to attend summer field camp. Twenty students will be awarded $2,000 each to attend the field camp of their choice based on diversity, economic/financial need, and merit.

Program Information

This $10,000 award is given each year to a geology field camp to assist with the summer field season. It is based on safety awareness, diversity, and technical excellence.

GSA offers a mentoring and travel grant program to the the 35th International Geological Congress (IGC) in Cape Town, South Africa. Students and Early Career Scientists (those within 7 years of receiving their Ph.D) may apply. Applications due 1 March 2016.
