The first two weeks will be training about park resources and how to do interpretation for diverse audiences. This is a perfect position for a student training to be an Earth Science teacher or who aspires to work for the Park Service, Forest Service, etc. as a formal or informal educator or interpreter. If you enjoy sharing your passion and love for geology with others, this is the dream job for you. This position is offered through the Geological Society of America's GeoCorps Program in partnership with the National Park Service's Geoscientists-in-the-Parks Program.
