Position Description:
This is an environmental education position at an amazing earth sciences site. The participant will prepare and presents interpretive cave tours and programs, and educational programs for school age children. The monument is located within the wild and rugged Klamath-Siskiyou Mountains, one of the most geologically complex and biologically diverse regions in North America. The participant will share the natural history stories of this amazing area with students and a wide segment of the public in a variety of programs. This position is offered through the Geological Society of America's GeoCorps America Program in partnership with the National Park Service’s Geoscientists-in-the-Parks Program.
