Physical/Natural Environment:
The Ashley National Forest includes 1.3 million acres of northeastern Utah and southwestern Wyoming, ranging from high desert to high alpine areas, with elevations from 6,000 feet to over 13,000 feet above sea level. Duchesne is a small friendly community of about 1,700 people.

Work Environment:
Oil and gas development on the Ashley NF is located in a high desert portion of the Forest, south of Duchesne. Locally rugged terrain with pinon pine and juniper vegetation, and flashy seasonal runoff. Paleo mostly in famous Green River Formation. Caves / karst occur in rugged alpine settings.

Qualifications:
Applicant must have a valid drivers license, and be able to pass a government background security check.
