Position Description:
Saguaro National Park contains a richness of geological and hydrological resources, yet the park does not currently interpret these values to visitors. This internship will focus on the creation of both long and short educational products, including illustrated reports, resource briefs, web site content, videos, and others. Saguaro's Rincon Mountain District is the type locality for metamorphic core complexes, and the park has many unique water features, especially high elelvation springs and spring-fed rock pools called tinajas. We are seeking an excellent writer with a science background and the ability use software such as Adobe InDesign. Spanish writing skills a definite plus. The intern will also do some field work in hydrology and other natural resource monitoring.
