GSA J. David Lowell Field Camp
Scholarships
The importance of field schools to practicing geologists is
unquestionable, yet the opportunities to experience field geology
are dwindling. J. David Lowell Field Camp Scholarships give
undergraduate students the opportunity to experience the wonder
of the geosciences and learn something new about the world. These
scholarships will provide US$2,000 to undergraduate students so
they can attend the summer field camp of their choice. Awards will
be based on diversity, economic/financial need, and merit.
Students must submit an online application form, two letters of
recommendation, and a cover letter by 27 March. Go to https://
www.geosociety.org/field-experiences to apply. Questions? Contact
