2017 Geoscientists-in-the-Parks Participants, Partners, and Donors
The NPS Geoscientists-in-the-Parks (GIP) program places college students and early career professionals
(18–35 years old) in National Park Service units for three months to one year to assist with geology and
integrated science projects. This program is a partnership between the National Park Service,
the Geological Society of America, and Stewards Individual Placement Program. Opportunities for spring/
summer 2018 will be posted online and open for applications at the beginning of December 2017.
