Minority-Serving Institution
Travel Awards
This year, GSA awarded 10 individuals attending six minority-
serving institutions travel grants to attend the GSA 2018 Annual
Meeting in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA. The awards support GSA’s
commitment to diversity and were offered to help support the partici-
pation of faculty and student groups who may not otherwise have
been able to attend the meeting. Funding for the awards is based
upon work supported by the National Science Foundation under
grant no. 1713930.
