Apply for a GSA Graduate



                    Student Research Grant







        Applying for a graduate student research grant provides career development
        opportunities, helps you gain experience with grant writing and project development,
        and supports your research in the geosciences.
        We strongly encourage applications from individuals who are Black, Indigenous,
        or Persons of Color as well as all other groups that are underrepresented in the
        geosciences so that we can strengthen and prioritize diversity, equity, and
        inclusion efforts within the geosciences and achieve success in research.

         About 300–400 recipients annually
         Grants range $500–$2,500 per student
          Applications accepted 1 Dec.–2 Feb.
